For a 90 day supply Optum Rx charged me $42.67. I could have got this at multiple local pharmacies for $12-45 for the same 90 day supply. I could have got a 10 month supply for less than what I was charged by Optum Rx. I have written United Healthcare and Optum Rx, a news agency, 2 newspapers and my employer. OPtum rx sent notice in December re: my mother's RX for Ranitidine = can cause cancer. Stop taking. I called OPtum & they refuse to provide coverage for the replacement drug Famotidine. I called our MD who states they called in a replacement. Optum states they never recived the request for a new Rx and still refuses to cover the Famoditinde. 2. Original review: Oct. 18, 2020.
